5 Ways To Engage Your Enewsletter Subscribers

The more you can engage your enewsletter readers, the more eager they’ll be for future issues. Here are a few ways to keep them involved.

  1. Link to Your Blog

Add some "teaser" copy about helpful information found on your blog or in your forum, without giving the full story away. Include a link to the rest of the information, to encourage readers to explore your other marketing vehicles.

  1. Start a Photo Contest

Photos of customers using your products always boost sales. Ask for photo submissions and permission to use them in your marketing materials. Give a prize for any you use.

  1. Add a Poll

People love to answer surveys. Add a one-question poll to your newsletter and use it to do a little market research or ask for product ideas.

  1. Use Q&As

Ask subscribers to send you questions, and answer them in the newsletter. For every question you receive, many more people probably have the same issue.

  1. Promote Social Media

For instance, if you have a Facebook page, invite people to become fans, and make special Facebook-only offers.
